Facts About Jamie

The Fae are actually from a parallel dimension of the world everyone knows. (similar to Mongo and Earth via Flash Gordon, there is a veil between the two that the Fae's magic can pull aside to move through.)

They originally started coming through in Ireland way back when, which is why there are so many legends and myths about them originating from there.

The Queen of the Unseelie, Jamie's Court, has a council. To the outside, they are advisers of the highest sort. Only they know that it's more because the Queen doesn't have the power to hold the Court anymore and has given some power to a council to keep the ability to stay as ruler.

Any supernatural with heightened sense has the ability to know what Jamie is. Her scent is strong of magic, and only the Fae smell this way. It is a scent that if ever encountered once, they'll know it easily again.

Just like the magic that runs through her veins can be scented, it carries a close hint of her age. Just because someone looks about twenty-five doesn't mean they are, don't you know.

The Fae can not lie. Withhold truth, obscure with weird phrasings, and tip toe around things yes, but outright lying is something that they aren't capable of. Why? They don't even know. Just that they can't.

Faerie dust does exist, though not in the way seen in movies and books. The gold dust is produced at high points of emotion and all it really does is strengthen the will of the one creating the dust.

For those like Jamie, who travel for long periods of time, they have to return to the Courts and their home within the Court land to sort of re-charge. The Fae are really in tune with the earth and being away from it for long, especially living in the city, any city, takes a toll so every month they have to reconnect with nature back home.

Jamie and her kind can feed vampires, and no their blood isn't poisonous or deadly. It's actually quite the opposite. Her blood is more powerful due to the magic humming through it, and as such not much is needed compared to if the vampire were taking it from a human. As to what the power in her blood tastes like, it's ranged from bitter to sweet, changing more with the mood she's in when she gives it, if it's given freely, and all that.
